Welcome to Camp Murray Beach and RV Campgrounds - a secret gem. Off the beaten path, nestled in the woods, the campground is located on the Shore of American Lake. Our RV sites are open all year long and our tent sites close October 1st. There are 28 full RV hookups, eight tent sites, a boat launch and a kitchen with a picnic area. Fishing is allowed with a valid license. Check-in is at noon and check-out is at 11:00am.
Eligibility, Reservation, and Cancellation Policy
Camp Murray campgrounds are open to active and retired military, reservists, authorized DoD civilians, and Washington Military Department employees. Must have valid ID.
Any cancellations or changes must be made before forty-eight (48) hours of reservation date to receive a refund on all reserved campsites.
Reservations are accepted up to three (3) days in advance. The maximum stay is thirty (30) days at any one reservation. If there is no waiting list or if space is available at the end of thirty (30) days, the user may make a new reservation for up to thirty (30). You must vacate the site for no less than three (3) days before starting the next reservation period. If you are making a reservation over the phone you must use a debit or credit card to hold the spot. If you do not arrive or call by 11:00 am on the day of the reservation, you will be charged one night's stay and will lose the remainder of the reservation. If you call by 2:00 pm the day of the reservation and state you cannot make it, but will arrive the following day, your reservation will be moved and you will not be charged. If you do not arrive the following day you will be charged for two night's stay.
